Challenge

Sennheiser aimed to create a compelling social media campaign for World Music Day that would celebrate and showcase the rich diversity of India’s musical heritage. The challenge was to craft engaging content that resonated with music enthusiasts and highlighted the unique sounds and cultural significance of traditional Indian instruments. The campaign needed to reflect the vibrancy of India’s music scene and engage audiences through interactive and captivating content.

Insight

India’s vast cultural landscape is reflected in its diverse musical traditions, each with unique instruments, rhythms, and stories. Music in India transcends regional and linguistic boundaries, acting as a universal language that unites people. By tapping into this rich heritage, the “Sounds of India” campaign aimed to foster connections and celebrate the unifying power of music while enhancing Sennheiser’s brand presence as a supporter of musical excellence.

Idea

We conceptualised the “Sounds of India” campaign to celebrate India’s musical diversity and cultural richness. The campaign featured a series of six creative posts leading up to and including World Music Day, showcasing different aspects of Indian music. This included interactive elements such as emoji-based song guessing games, Antakshari challenges, and trivia about traditional instruments. The centrepiece of the campaign was a main reel featuring renowned artists, sound engineers, and DJs sharing their favourite songs, adding a personal touch to the celebration.

Results

The campaign effectively captured the essence of India’s musical diversity and engaged audiences through interactive and visually appealing content. The Music Day reel was featured on both Sennheiser India’s and Sennheiser’s global pages, gaining international attention and recognition. Metrics (to be added)
